Moraine Lake - Canadian Rockies - Banff National Park, Canada

A breathtaking view of this turquoise lake can sometimes be seen from the top of a very large rock pile at the edge of the water. One must climb the rocks early in the morning while the sun's light magically drapes accross the mountains. The turquoise water is formed from the glacier mineral deposits reflecting in the sun.
